My CRM Blog Introduction

Hi folks, I've just set up this blog to record my experiences with Microsoft CRM 3.0, I hope it will be useful to any who read it.

Bit of background first: I work in the Chelford Group marketing department (http://www.chelfordgroup.com), basically in charge of the corporate websites and internet marketing. We currently have our marketing leads and prospects database stored in Goldmine and are looking to use Microsoft CRM 3.0 instead.

I've just completed most of the Microsoft CRM 3.0 Applications e-Courses and my first task is to get the software installed on our new demonstration server laptop. This initial implementation is essentially to "play" - in other words, let's have a good mess around with the software, learn what it does, make lots of mistakes and learn from them and also overcome and patch any bugs in the software with MS hotfixes.
